WELCOME TO FALLON

Welcome to Fallon. If you are visiting via the internet, planning a visit in the near future or just wanting to know more about Fallon, I am glad you are interested in this great community with a rich history and proud citizens. Please visit the City’s website at www.cityoffallon.com for more great and helpful information about us.

The City Council and I are dedicated to providing outstanding service to both residents and visitors alike. We are working hard to maintain the community’s quality of life, charm, and the sense of peace and security one feels in Fallon.

Phase one of the renovation of Maine St. in downtown Fallon has been completed and the street looks great. We are looking forward to even further beautification along Maine St. as the private sector recognizes the value of investing in store fronts, signs, and new businesses. As the City works on curb appeal and first impressions as keys to attracting residents and visitors alike to downtown, it also plans to erect signs along key roadways to direct travelers there.

Large and small cities around the country face a myriad of challenges everyday and Fallon is no different. But the commitment to tackle challenges head on, and early, will lead to a better place to live, and result in new resources and assets for every one in the community to enjoy.

Here are some new and soon-to-be-realized assets that have come out of recent challenges:

A skateboard park at Venturacci Park;
Millennium Park at the corner of Williams & Maine St.;
A new water treatment facility;
A business park;
A full-cooking kitchen at the Fallon Convention Center;
Stabilized power prices in our association with Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS)...

The list of projects and the creation of real assets and value for the citizens of Fallon goes on and on. Fallon is poised to march confidently into the future. Welcome to the community guide. If you are a visitor, enjoy your stay. If you are a resident, thank you for your community spirit and contribution to this great community.

Sincerely, Ken Tedford Jr.
