FALLON FARMERS MARKET
The Fallon Farmers Market is a weekly
social event in the heart of Fallon on the newly
redone Maine St. The street looks and feels great
with the benches and fountains, greenery and trees.
The market blends right in to create a unique shopping
venue for locals and visitors alike.
Beginning in mid-June, and ending
the weekend before Labor Day, the Fallon Farmers
Market buzzes with the freshest produce, arts & crafts,
foods, drinks, music for all ages and an array
of activities every Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8
p.m. Locals and visitors alike have made the market
a Fallon tradition.
Farmers from Fallon, northern and
southern Nevada, and California provide the fresh
market produce every week. The freshest fruits
and vegetables, along with specialty foods such
as goat cheese and flavored breads, are available
each Tuesday afternoon and into the evening. The
market is also home to crafters, food vendors,
civic organizations, and a variety of displays
and events such as tractor and vintage car displays,
and kids contests. It also features a weekly guest
chef cooking with some of the farm fresh produce
available at the market, and sharing cooking techniques
and recipes.
