THE FALLON AIR SHOW

Part of northern Nevada's Aerial Triple Crown

The Fallon Air Show is Fallon's marquee special event and part of northern Nevada's "Aerial Triple Crown" that includes the Great Reno Balloon Races and Reno's National Championship Air Races.

The Fallon Air Show features the world's greatest precision jet teams including the Navy’s Blue Angels, the Air Force’s Thunderbirds, and the Canadian Snowbirds. It also showcases performances by all branches of the armed forces as well as daring civilian aerobatics. It takes place at Naval Air Station Fallon, one of the premier tactical training bases in the country and home to the elite Navy fighter weapons school, TOPGUN. The focus of the show is on the military and the awesome capabilities of the most powerful aircraft in the world; but, the entire history of aviation is on display with restored warbirds and other interesting confederate aircraft.

Another popular feature of the Air Show is the "Wall of Fire", a simulated strafing run by TOPGUN pilots that creates a quarter-mile explosion along the flight line of the show.

The Fallon Air Show is one of the first major special events of the northern Nevada season and draws over 50,000 spectators annually. A spring show helps the Fallon event kick off the special event season, garnering the attention it deserves from locals and tourists alike. It offers everything from great food, drinks and souvenirs, to the greatest pilots in the world. On top of everything, the Fallon Air Show is FREE! Yes, general admission and parking are free.

The show helps showcase the cooperation between the Navy and the Fallon community in which it resides. A viable recruiting tool as well as an opportunity for tax payers to see their money at work, the Fallon Air Show provides community non-profit groups and organizations the ability to raise funds for many worthwhile causes. The local economy also benefits tremendously.

The date for the Fallon Air Show will be announced very soon. The show will no doubt be in the Spring, ready to once again thrill audiences of all ages!
